Building an online business is not something you can achieve overnight. You need to work at it, and work hard. There are too many claims that you will wake up as a millionaire tomorrow morning however it is a long road to building a solid online business. You can start to build your business steadily over time so it grows and grows, making it bigger and better.
You do need to be realistic and realise that it will take time and lots of effort to make it work but by there are places that you will be able to learn from, even with little or no prior knowledge and as you learn you will become more confident but most of all it can cost you less than you think.
You should work at your own pace, spend a few hours a week or a few hours a day, it’s up to you. The problem most beginners face is greed. They see all these programs claiming to make huge fortunes overnight. All you need to do is buy the product, push a few buttons and bang, the money will come rolling in! In reality, you don’t make any money, so you move onto the next product and the process is repeated, over and over. You then suffer from information overload. You have all these different products, you’ve used bits and pieces of them all, never saw one through to the end, and have six, seven maybe even eight people all advising you how to make the big bucks, all in different ways, so you end up losing all focus and have no real path to follow. It happens to everyone!
What you need to do is pick a path and stick to it, going at your pace but remember to stay focused. It’s better to do the job right and take a bit longer than rush and do a poor job.
You don’t need to build a fancy website with fancy graphics and videos etc. All you need is a site that tells people what to expect from you or provides the information they are looking for. The fancy elements will just distract them from the reason they are there. As you gain more experience you can try adding a few more tricky things such as videos, as long as they add to the site and not just because they look fancy.
In the end if you want to succeed and are prepared to put in the work required, you will end up with a solid business that will grow and grow.
